AFSCME Local 2401 members and community groups showed up and showed out on April 6 as District workers spoke truth to power and put DCHR, Mayor Bowswer, and the District Council on notice that we need and demand expanded telework options. It was a good turnout for a first rally, with over 70 people signing in as they arrived.

To support Judge Ketanji Brown-Jackson for Supreme Court Justice, AFSCME is showing support for her by wearing GREEN on Monday, April 4.

You've no doubt seen or heard of the disgusting display by a few Senators during Brown-Jackson's confirmation hearings. Let's show Judge Brown-Jackson and the country that we support her nomination as a Justice who will stand with labor!  Here's an article about a labor case she ruled on recently: https://www.reuters.com/legal/

Union Brothers and Sisters,  This information below will explain how you can tell whether or not you need to replace your SmarTrip card. Metro made changes to the fareboxes you swipe your card on, and some cards don't work anymore.  There are contact #s for DCHR and WMATA if you need any assistance in checking and/or replacing your card.
