AFSCME Elects New Leadership! 

At last week's AFSCME 47th Biannual International Convention in Chicago, delegates came from around the country to conduct Union business and to elect new leadership. Outgoing International President Lee Saunders and International Secretary Treasurer Elissa McBride stepped down from their positions after years of leadership, and were replaced in an overwhelming election by Maryland Council 3 Executive Director Patrick Moran to President and Saunders' assistant Nicole Pollard as Sec.
